Inspired by the timeless imagery of the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, Ascension reimagines the tarot through a world of luminous fantasy, ancient symbolism, and otherworldly beauty. Each card has been digitally painted in intricate detail, with approximately 40 hours devoted to the creation of each individual piece of artwork.
Designed for both tarot readers and collectors of fine fantasy art, Ascension is a deck meant to be treasured. The imagery invites contemplation and storytelling, while remaining rooted in the familiar archetypes and structure of the traditional tarot.
The Deck
Each of the 78 cards is printed in full color on premium 350gsm cardstock with a luxurious matte finish. The cards feature foil accents along the borders and lettering, while the backs are adorned with intricate star embellished foil. The deck is finished with gilded edges, adding another layer of elegance to every shuffle and spread.
The accompanying 165-page full-color guidebook provides an introduction to the deck and detailed interpretations for every card. Rather than separating the cards into upright and reversed meanings, the guidebook explores the symbolism and broader meaning of each card, allowing you to develop your own relationship with the imagery.

Because Ascension is an independently produced art deck, each stage of its creation, from printing to finishing and packaging, is carefully overseen to ensure that the finished deck lives up to the artwork it contains. Estimated fulfillment timing will be updated as production progresses.
