Each Draco Avis piece is worked up first as a digital comp that is designed specifically around the shape of a particular wooden slab. Then, after all the forms, lighting and rendering had been completely worked out it is then painstakingly painted onto the slab in oils with vivid and precise details to create a one of a kind original painting.
